I like to draw in my spare time. I've never really taken any classes or courses to help me out with techniques, I just read some of the books by artists that I like. Lee Hammond is one of my favorite artists. She's based in Kansas City and I own several of her books. She's got a technique that's all her own that I love to try and emulate. My drawing is on top and a scan of her original drawing is on the bottom. Tell me what you think.

ReplyDeleteVery impressive!! I couldn't even imagine trying to draw a person. I had enough trouble with my "simple man made object" from the first project. I think a fear of having to draw people is what has always prevented me from taking an art class.
